About the Project

It’s a great feeling to build trust in a client that leads to more work and responsibilities. With Reebok we first started that journey as simple production work for assets in their in-store displays. But as we raised the bar of where they could take it further, we wound up being tasked with creating new in-store concepts and displays, product photo shoots and activation campaigns for new sneaker series releases and special editions.

Retail Spaces / In-Store Activation

Would have to admit that in desiging many window displays for Special Edition sneakers, some of these were just a lot of fun having creative space/license to play around in. After gaining their confidence, The relationship with Reebok Classics continued to grow and expand into conceptualizing, designing, and producing assets for more store design and retail activation toolkits for their special edition footwear line. With any creative task there are limitations to balance. With these designs, the idea was to keep with brand and style guidelines while injecting a sophisticated playfulness and creative flair into the concepts that was easily repeatable in other markets. These retail concepts would need to translate into in-store and window displays for Asian and European markets.

In addition to translating sneaker stories in to retail spaces, an Activation Campaign was introduced to gain traction around bigger releases. That meant developing campaign concepts (like the "Free Your Fury" campaign, that could be integrated into or around retail spaces and translate into shareable social stories as well. Activation campaigns also had to be translated into toolkits that were designed to be straightforward and easy for retailers to use, with clear instructions. The retail concept translated well into in-store collateral and striking window displays, making a big impact in the stores. In the end, we delivered retail activation toolkits that met Reebok’s expectations and provided a clear, engaging way for retailers to showcase the special edition sneaker lines.
